Dr Charlie Lee-Potter is a writer, printmaker, and university lecturer in English Literature. She prints on her nineteenth-century Imperial relief press, a lithography press, and a contemporary etching press. Her landscape paintings are executed in ink and wax.
She is a former BBC radio and television news correspondent and has presented many of BBC Radio 4’s flagship news and current affairs programmes, including PM, The World at One, The World This Weekend, and The World Tonight. She’s worked as a radio correspondent around the world and presented Radio 4’s literary programme Open Book. She made a series of political documentaries for BBC2 and presented Breakfast News on BBC1. Charlie has written for many national newspapers and magazines, including the New Statesman, Sunday Telegraph, Mail on Sunday, the Independent, and the Observer. She has written for Cereal since its launch in 2012.
